François Expert

A lawyer to the Paris Bar, François Expert specializes in litigation, and criminal law.

He co-founded Expert & Guis after having worked as an associate of Patrice Spinosi, a lawyer at the Conseil d’État and the Cour de Cassation, where he gained experience litigating complex and high-stakes cases before the highest courts in France.

His previous experience includes Kiejman & Marembert and Bredin Prat law firms in Paris.

François Expert focuses mainly on resolving private disputes, through negotiation or litigation. He also practices in the fields of criminal law, and press law.

He teaches a class at Sciences Po Paris, and regularly publishes in leading French law reviews.

He works both in French and in English.

François Expert studied at the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), Sciences Po Paris, Yale Law School and the Panthéon-Assas University.
